Which Oscoda This Is
Michigan has both, and people confuse them constantly, search engines included. The community of Oscoda is on the shore in Iosco County, about 39 road miles and 45 minutes from our office in Hale. Oscoda County is inland to the northwest; its county seat, Mio, is 34 miles from our office and about 50 minutes away, and it is in the same community mental health area but a different county entirely.

The Drive
The drive from Oscoda to Hale is about 45 minutes, inland and away from the shore. It is one of the longer regular drives people make to our office, and people from Oscoda make it. Tell us which drive you are making when you call; it helps us choose times, and a rhythm of appointments, that fit it.
