Anxiety
When your mind will not stop and your body will not settle.
Eight things, one counselor, in one office in Hale since 2012. If what you are dealing with is not on this list, call and ask. We would rather tell you honestly whether this is the right place than leave you to guess from a web page.
When your mind will not stop and your body will not settle.
When getting through the day has started to take everything you have.
Something happened, and part of you is still there.
Attention and self-regulation work differently, and there are real skills for it.
The same argument keeps happening in different clothes.
A serious illness rearranges everything, and the drives are their own weight.
You do not have to tell the whole story to start.
For people who are not sure they count. You do.
Children from age three, teenagers, adults and older adults. Individuals, couples and families. Ann Marie Shay has worked with more than 10,000 people since 2012, from age three to eighty-eight, which is an unusual range and the reason a family can often be seen in one place rather than three.
Sessions are 30 or 60 minutes. The first appointment is longer and is mostly about getting to know you, and the appointments page sets out the kinds of appointment and what to bring to the first one. Most major insurance is accepted, see which plans and what to ask yours before you come.
Alongside counseling, the practice runs taught groups in its own group room: anger management, co-parenting and blended family training, and a workshop on boundaries. Ann Marie also provides clinical supervision for limited licensed counselors. Those are on the programs page.
You do not have to work that out before you call. Leave your name and number and we will talk it through.
